What the desk does

A shared queue, a help centre, and the limits a workspace needs. AI features are described here and start off for a new tenant.

Ticketing

Email becomes a ticket. Agents reply, leave an internal note, merge, split, and tag. The customer thread stays intact, including mail from Gmail and Outlook.

The refund still shows as pending. Can you resend the receipt?

Internal note

Priya is already looking at the payment. Don't reply yet.

Reply draft · not sent

I've resent the receipt. The refund lands within two business days.

Routing and SLAs

A new workspace gets a department, business hours, and a default SLA: first response in 8 business hours, resolution in 24, weekdays. The clock follows that calendar.

Automation

Rules are capped by plan: 5 on Free, 25 on Starter, unlimited on Growth and above. A rule that fires too often on one ticket stops. Macros and canned replies sit beside the composer.

Knowledge base and portal

Each brand has a help centre on its own host, with public articles, a web form, and — from Starter — a chat widget. Free help centres show Powered by LystDesk. Tenants do not add their own JavaScript.
